The Battle of Mer Sara (Written by Kestrel and Yuki)

Kestrel jinked and jukes his fighter through the debris around the Andromeda, and made his way to the hanger. Leaping from his fighter he sped to the bridge just in time to hear Yuki's comment trail off, "You heard the man! Launch whatever we have left or there wont be enough left of either ship to scrap together to get one working hull!"

Andromeda's remaining fighters boiled out of the Hangers and formed a fighter screen in front of the Andromeda as the ship moved to intercept it's friendly visitors. "Conner, see if we can get a on screen communication with their Captain!" Conner furiously punched at his panel, "Request away sir!"

The remaining enemy fighters begin to scatter after the twin's counter attack, their first attack since coming onto the screen crippling the fighters that where left they engaged the Andromeda in battle. Both DSA destroyers disengaging as the fighters begin to run, both combat ships taking holding positions around the two damaged heavy cruisers for their protection.

Captain Yuki Chakara stands at attention on the bridge of his ship, issuing orders to his battle group to ready their defensives and prepare for any further attacks from the marauders that attacked their sister ship. "Yuki, sensors are picking up another contact coming from the direction the remaining enemy fighters are fleeing to. It looks like its their command carrier, its heading right for us"

Before Yuki can respond, an incoming transmission comes in from the captain of the Andromeda. The second in command of the Tiger's Claw opens the channel over the bridge intercom as Yuki returns to his command chair, "This is the Chakara, we have detected the enemy command carrier moving to intercept our position, are you in any shape to defend captain"
