Construction of the Final Forum and how it Relates to the Beta Forum

I would like to give everyone a heads up on the future of the Star Shadow Universe and how it relates to the current beta version. Currently everyone one is playing on the beta forum, when it finally goes live it will be on an entirely new forum, in fact it will be 4 interlinked forums. There will be a main forum, a forum for all locations within the Milkyway galaxy, a forum for the Andromeda and Triangulum galaxies and a final one for all dwarf galaxies. I was sadly forced to do the final forum this way do to the fact that there is a limit on the amount of sub forums allowed in a forum. I found this out as i was trying to expand on the number of star systems on the current forum


As i finish the final forum and open it up, i will also be transferring over the current story posts and they will be posted under your own name under pre-made accounts so when you come to the final forum, everything you posted will be there ready for you to continue


Now, that being said. I will be making some minor changes to a few of the later posts to help solve an issue that has recently cropped up. One of our leading members, Falconous Jakal, has had to take time off to deal with some personal issues. With him gone and unable to continue posting in his story regularly, his story is currently on hold and those involved in his story sadly can not continue till he does

To get around this so those involved can partially continue with their character's stories independently of the GS storyline. I will make some small changes to both Bachai's and Midori's later posts to give them an out of the GS story line till falco returns to continue his. This way Bachai can have his character explore around for a time before going to see falco and Midori may have her character split off to delve deeper into her character. I will also make an alteration to the probe incident and remove the progen from it, instead i will have it an unknown assailant destroy it so it better plays into falco's wife's disappearance.

One final change i will make during the transfer is the posts involving Gudd finding the progen homeworld and returning to GS space will be removed and will not make it to the final forum. This will allow it to be left on a cliff hanger and allow for a time skip period to give falco some time off. During the time skip Gudd will still be searching for the progen, midori can deal with her character's inner struggle and bachai's character can search for his former home and explore some before he reaches GS space.

I dont much like having to change it but falco wont be able to post in a while and if left as is no one else involved in his story could continue with theirs since they linked their's with his


This does sadly leave the current story on hold till the final forum is complete and open, till then, everyone is welcome to make other minor characters to play in short stories and post them in the example role playing section. They can range from anything, just have fun

Example Role Plays

An alteration to the current forum's ongoing GS story has been made. To help maintain story continuity and allow for those currently inactive to eventually come back while i work on finishing the final version of the role playing forum, i have temporarily moved the posts concerning Gudd's discovery of the progen's star system to the forum basket. This will allow those with reduced activity to slowly continue with there stories and will help prepare everyone for the minor changes to the story that would take place during the move.

I have also made a small change to the Drone's Arrival post and have removed all progen content from it. That way it allows a divergence in later posts and allows for the possibility of another enemy.
