The Bio-android (WIP)

A bio-android is a bio-engineered or bio-robotic being created to be identical to another lifeform, but have superior strength, agility, and variable intelligence depending on the model. While bio-androids generally have superior physical abilities compared to the race at which they where modeled after, their physical abilities are generally inferior to a fully robotic variant. They do require life support to function but can go for extended periods without and they do register a bio-signature.

However they are not as vulnerable to technological hazards such as computer viruses as their neurological centers are mostly organic based, certain levels of energy discharges still can effect their mechanical systems as well as their biological ones. They are less prone to malfunctions though, and remote control shutdown devices have little to no effect on them do to their main systems being mostly organic. Other aspects that separates them from their fully robotic counterparts is the fact that they can swim without the aid of built in flotation devices, and are as naturally waterproof as their biological systems naturally allow based on type but cannot perform tasks underwater for as long as a android can as they do require air.
