The nanomage creates magic like effects in a similar way as a technomage, but do it in a far more sophisticated and refined way. Instead of using various cybernetic implants and devices, they use advanced nanomachines that have been infused directly into their bodies. The more advanced nature of the nanomachines allows for better manipulation of ambient energies and matter, and with the more direct connection to the users brain and body allows for far better control of the nanomachines.
(To become a nanomage one must have been infused with advanced nanomachines that would allow for the control of ambient energies around them, such nanomachines can only be found on highly advanced worlds.
